River Fishing Try your luck in the spring with wild BC steelhead, dolly varden, and cutthroat trout.  In the summer there is an abundance of salmon.  Runs of numerous species of mature salmon start heading up the river to spawn.  These are beautiful times to be out in the wilderness and this is a perfect river for fly-fishing
Eco-Tourism The Grizzly bears feed on spring sedge grasses and seafood at low-tide, a variety of water fowl arrive in great numbers, and the dolphins play and feed on herring as the majestic Thompson Sound comes to life in early May.  In the summer the cubs come out with Mom to feed on berries and to get their lessons in fishing for wild salmon.  This is truly a sight to behold.  The summer is also a great time to go out on the boat to see the whales.  As the fall sets in it is a very exciting time, full of action!  Bald eagles are in flight in great numbers, the bears congregate and fish for salmon, and the wolves make their way to the river to join the picnic.
Trapping Adventures Trapping starts November 15th.  This is a trip back in time where one can experience the age-old craft of trapping.
