Come meet the staff

Meet your main guide, Trapper Rick.
It is worth coming just to meet Trapper Rick and hear him tell his unique stories. He’s been part of the Kak·Wei·Ken River for the past 13 years. His enthusiasm for the river is incomparable. Bring the kids and they will never forget this adventure!
Meet Jake, the trapper trainee.
This is Trapper’s grandson. Need someone to take pictures for you…or videotape your experience? He’s the man for you! He is also a great cook. (Let us know if you have any particular dietary requirements and we will do our best to provide you with what you need) He also sends a word of advice---"bring lots of film, lures and bug spray!"
Meet Heidi, the behind the scene partner.
This is Trapper’s daughter. She is one of our people behind the scenes. She is busy getting the house on Quadra Island ready for your stop over enjoyment next year!
